How do you get a job in another city before moving there?

Also how do you apply when you don’t even care what city?

I want to move anywhere in the Midwest/NE. I’ve been applying for some jobs that seem good in Minneapolis and Philadelphia but I’m afraid if they won’t even consider me anyway for not living there.

Also my experience is prettt much administrative and I really don’t want to end up in that. I was an executive assistant just this year they let me go but I applied because that’s where my experience goes and they had great opportunities to grow. So I’ve been looking at operations coordinator and project coordinator and sometimes analyst jobs. But being out of state, and not having the exact experience, I feel like it might take forever?
