Do you find it difficult being social in Zoom calls?

I never been super social to begin with, but right now working from home, these video calls can be very awkward. I did much better being social in person. Been working for 3 months for this very laid back company. We have happy hour and social gathering videos here and there, but as a new employee, I find it hard to interact during this calls especially with 10-20 people there. There’s always awkward stares and quietness. I do my work ok so far, which I guess it is most important anyways, but wondering if other people share similar experiences.
