Annoying boss

So i work for a general contracting business, and idk if any of you have worked in any of the trades but anyone who is in any type of higher position immediately assumes that they are the smartest human in the room. My boss certainly thinks he is but recently hes been in the habit of calling me a retard for anything at all that he doesnt like. Being called a retard by someone less intelligent than you is probably the single most infuriating thing in existence. How tf would any of you guys deal with this
