When do you know it’s finally time to move on?

I’ve been at my job for 7 years and just accepted a position at a different place. I have to give my boss the notice tomorrow and it’s killing me inside.

I’m so sad because deep in my heart, I feel such comfort being there. But comfort doesn’t bring growth. And that’s why I’m leaving. I want a place where I can grow in my career. But at the same time I’m broken inside at the thought of not being at my job anymore because they have become a family to me.
