Returning to work (UK)

I’m mainly looking for a bit of guidance (sorry it’s lengthy)

Previously I posted in r/jobs about my job as a area manager where it was clear my boss was a very old fashioned boss, threats to fire for motivation.

During COVID-19 our company went dormant as no work was available, I wasn’t entitled to furloughed pay as my bosses convinced me to be self employed previously and I’m not eligible for government support as I’m newly self employed.

The company I work for didn’t offer any help or support to me or the other 2 managers, but the bosses still took a wage of £800 a week (3 of them).

It’s now becoming time to “return to normal”, my boss has contacted me after 12 weeks of no contact (apart from asking me todo the odd IT task) to see if I’m ready to get back to work and has called a meeting with me and other managers. I’ve already had rumours from the other manager that “if things ain’t staffed by the time the venues open then you’re gone” so no change...

The meeting (I’m guessing) is to decide what’s happening, who’s doing what and when ready for the 4th of July.

To make it worse, since I had no contact and I was told I’m not needed, I made plans in the next coming weeks leading me not available for 2 weeks.

There’s 2 parts to my job as an area manager, the office (the part I enjoy, but get worried about) and the weekend where I have to provide cover (the part I’ve become to hate, as I don’t get extra payment and it’s more of a mission than a joy).

Obviously only I can make a final decision on what I do, but this is where it gets tricky...

I have now gained over a years experience as an area manager for my industry (security), I don’t have any other job lined up but I do have a way of maintaining income by working, however it’s not guaranteed or secure (neither is this job as previously mentioned).

These are the options I’ve come up with, but feel free to comment other ideas...

1) ask for a fixed amount to cover my office and weekend work so I’m at least getting paid for all parts of my job. (This could be a bad idea if I work 50+ hours as it would go less than £10 an hour).

2) Ask to only do the office work (I enjoy the office banter) (more than likely not to happen).

3) I only do the weekend part and get paid the correct amount per hour.

4) I walk away from the company completely and look for another job.
