How do I ask my boss for time off work?

I am currently on time off for work but I told my boss id let him know my schedule by mid June, implying I will be coming back.

Phase 2 in the US just happened but because of the protests im assuming more COVID cases are going to be rising and called off work initially because of the pandemic.

Secondly, because I didnt expect to be opening up so soon, I scheduled my entire summer for school so I don't know if I can handle work on top of that.

I don't want to sound like a pain or make him hate me but I dont think I can stay at least until Fall starts. How do I phrase it so he doesnt fire me because I still want to work but when summer school ends and the corona thing blows over or is a bit more stable.
