During a web interview, is it a must to look at your webcam?

Because in a in-person interview, you are supposed to look at the interviewer in the eye. So the equivalent of that is to look at the webcam. But I find it so awkward. My natural tendency is to look at the screen (below the webcam).

What is the etiquette on this?
