Considering leaving my job of 2 weeks

A little background: This is my first (technical) job, I am 16. I’ve worked in a kitchen before and have cash register experience. I work for a water park as a cashier/occasional expeditor who makes food and fills drinks.

I’m just getting really fed up with my supervisor and management in general. I was given absolutely no training at the start of the job. I was put in front of a cash register on my first day and was left alone. Everyone I work with is new and so they don’t know these basics either. Everything Ive learned has been trial and error, with no guidance from my supervisors. Since the park is so big we have walkie talkies and it was a week into the job until I learned how to use it.

Yesterday was a really bad day at work - they gave us a talk about how one of the food stands has never been so messy, and the orders took forever and customers were complaining. I was there at the time, watching the orders pile up. You know why I didn’t do them?? I couldn’t figure out how to work a stand mixer, and no one in the kitchen with me knew either. The only person who did know how to work it went on break. It took 10-15 minutes at least for me to figure it out. The kitchen has also been understaffed for the past week, they’ve only had two people in it when it can only function at three. It took management two weeks and a bunch of complaints from customers to realize that?

TL;DR: My job is frustrating - whenever I need help or guidance it’s not there, I got no training, my supervisor only communicates in nods and head shakes and management seems completely unaware of everything that’s going on at the employee’s level. Is this normal? Is it worth staying and dealing with the stress? Should I start looking for another opportunity? Thank you
