Company giving me a pay cut after I was affected by a store closure?

I’ve worked in sales at a large retail company for the past few years. At this company, I have a special certification for prosthetic fittings, and was awarded a prestigious salesperson award just a few months ago. The store that I worked at unfortunately closed permanently June 1st after COVID hit. Now, another store in my area is asking me to work for them since it’s been so busy and told me that they need someone with my special certification. When I looked at my hire paperwork, I saw that I’m getting almost a dollar pay cut. This is concerning for me. I’ve been with the company for years, and feel as though I am an asset to them. It rubs me the wrong way that I’m being treated as a new hire, especially after a store closure which is obviously out of my control. Do I have a right to fight for my old pay rate back?
