Do you have to disclose a past worker’s compensation lawsuit to a potential employer?

I’m trying to help my mother find a new job. She’s worked manufacturing/factory work most of her life and it’s unfortunately caught up with her. She’s torn her rotator cuff twice now and had 3+ surgeries with at least 1-2 more needed in the future. She’s getting older and with this injury needs a job less physically intense. The issue is, 4ish years ago with this first happened the company she works for tried to refuse workman’s comp to get her shoulder fixed (it was cause my an on the job injury and she had proof of this) which lead to a lawsuit where she won. She is worried trying to find any other job that this pretty much makes her un-hireable. Does it really? And does she need to disclose this/ would it show up at all with any searches a potential employer would do?
