Hello All -
I have a technical interview soon at Amazon for an Enterprise Account Manager within AWS. Without divulging too much, I feel that I have a strong background, certainly compared to the role description. However, many (most?) TAMs at AWS have the classical CS background and worked as software engineers for a time. I'm not a software engineer, though I can code and I have a very good understanding of the systems/architectures I've worked with in the cloud (AWS actually).
Getting more specific, I'm scared I'll be asked really specific low-level questions that I would really only need to know if I were a SWE or a Solution Architect (building things from scratch). While the job description itself doesn't suggest this will be the case, I keep reading about how AWS TAMs are way more technical than TAMs at other companies. Looking at AWS TAM backgrounds on LinkedIn seem to support this.
This very well may be just my anxiety, but it's a concern nonetheless. Any tips or advice from those familiar with the role/interview process?
