So I applied for a job at a hospital, and I had my first phone interview with the recruiter April 3rd, which I’d say went well. She even put me through for a second phone interview with a higher up during the call, which was supposed to happen the following week on the 10th. That day came and I was waiting for the call at the assigned time, but even after waiting thirty minutes, I didn’t get a call. I called the recruiter again then, and she said she’d see what happened and email me ASAP. I gave her the weekend to reply, then sent a follow-up email last Monday when I didn’t get anything (which may have been too soon in hindsight). No response to that either after a week.
I’m sorry if that story is convoluted, but yeah I’m just feeling really down about this rn. I’m thinking maybe the COVID-19 situation is messing them up right now or something. Should I send another follow-up email at the end of the week or wait a bit more? Or just cut my losses? :/
