Just what the title says. My wife works but doesn’t get insurance from her employer. I’m looking for work and recently accepted a position that is officially part time but with enough opportunities for extra shifts that I have been assured I can get 40 hours a week if I want it. If I maintain 40 hrs I can get insurance from the employer but not until I’ve been there 90 days. Is that as good as I can expect if I’m looking in the same field (caregiver for people with disabilities) or should I keep looking until I find someone who will offer benefits right away?
