Realtors - How bad did you want to quit in year 1?

Today I looked up how to get a realtors license, and a lot of the articles I read said that the majority of realtors quit their job within a year.

If you're a realtor/have info on this: How badly did you want to quit in your first year? What made you stay?

I'm just really curious to know what it was like when you were first beginning.
