My mother wants to resign from her job primarily for mental health reasons (as in, she can't take it anymore). This is something I highly doubt I can change her mind on.

On Monday, she wants to resign after her morning meetings.

I'm here to ask:

What are the ways that she can make this look better for the future? I recommended to her that she get fired, but she said "That's not what grown-ups do." Help?
