I have experience working as a script reader/assistant at a production house in Los Angeles. The production house folded. I want to find another job in the field but it's insanely competitive. Everyone I know who has a decent job got it from interning and working their way up. I'm a bartender (or at least will be again someday when things open back up) and have my days free. I'm willing to roll the dice and work for free for a while for the chance to improve my situation. I want to apply for internships but in California it's illegal for employers to take unpaid interns unless it's in return for college credit. I already have a Bachelor's Degree. This got me thinking:
Could I theoretically enroll in one cheap community college class just so I could qualify for internships?
