Am I technically lying on my resume?

Resume presumes I graduated in May 2019. The degree says finished in December 2018. It was due to pending credits that were not awarded until 2019 and I didn't want to pay tuition to continue 1 class, so I didn't exist to the school eyes. I also got a degree in 2019 and had to redo an entire application cause of formality/bureaucracy on the school parts. Also, my internship on campus on my resume ended in 2019.

It only matters so much as I have a gap after May 2019. I didn't want to show a prolonged gap as I finished in 2018 when I technically never did and was still doing stuff as well.

Is this a big deal to HR when verifying degree dates? Will hiring managers even care?
