Advice: How to check up on hiring process during COVID?

I'm based in NYC. I had a final round interview in the first week of the crisis and when I looped back a week later, the company had said they were putting the position on hold. It's been about a month and while the situation in NYC isn't changing, what is an appropriate way to say "hey remember me when you reopen?? or will you even hiring after this??" I just need help crafting a "checking in respectfully" email.
