After the school year ends, I would have finished my sophomore year of high school. I'm looking for a part-time job during the summer that meets the following requirements:
- Allows me to work during the summer (obviously)
- Is part-time (I need time to practice for the SAT test in preparation for Junior year)
- Allows high schoolers
- Entry-level
- No extensive physical work
- Pays decent (as long as I'm able to earn at least $600 over the course of the summer)
- Not related to engineering, science, or health
- Not too much talking (I can't carry conversations well)
Here's some info about me:
- Has not had any previous work experience at all
- Does not have any skills that I'm confident in
- Can draw characters
- Can edit papers
- Won 2nd place in a regional film competition (not related to anything but at least I can say I'm not a complete loser)
- Volunteered in game booths for children
- Acquainted with Photoshop and Illustrator and have made numerous digital graphic designs with them (not really good at it, though)
- Acquainted with the Python programming language (not really good at it, though)
- Volunteered to teach children every week for 2 years
- Can use Google Drive applications (e.g. Google Spreadsheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, etc.)
- Straight A student with one B in AP World History.
Personally, I was thinking of being a summer tutor for math subjects because of the many experiences I've had working with kids, but as a 16-year-old, I doubt people will take me in. Other than that, most of my achievements and experience are hardly related to one another. I have technical skills, but I'm not confident that they're good. Any ideas of what jobs I could and any advice on how to apply?
