I'm in my late 20s and I'm looking to move away from my dead-end job to a completely different field: IT/Tech.
I've done some research and it looks like employers value some certifications in the IT field more than the degree the person holds. (I'm a Political Science major.)
Any advice on the certifications I should pursue?
What are the certificates that will allow a candidate to be hirable even without relevant experience?
I can commit to going back to community college for 1-2 years but I can also self-study as well.
