Earlier this week, my dream job was posted on the company's webpage. I tailored my resume detailing all the relevant skills, I wrote a professional, yet impassioned, cover letter explaining why I am the perfect candidate for the position, and I sent it off for consideration. It's been 3 days since I submitted my resume, which I know is much to early to follow up with the company, but I want to be prepared for when the time comes.
It is important to note that I don't have any personal connections to this company (I've combed through my LinkedIn network to no avail). How should I approach following up with them? Should I email their public contact? Or should I try to mail a letter and copy of my resume to someone at their HR department? I want to give myself the best possible chance at at least getting an interview. Thank you!
