Asked to do a pre-recorded interview

I just got an email invitation to do a pre-recorded interview. I have spent several years on hiring committees, but this is a new one for me, the idea of not being able to have give and take or gauge the interviewer's response is definitely outside of my comfort zone. Has anyone done these before? And if so, do you have any tips? (aside from dress nicely and do it in a quiet location).
