I need a new start.
I lived like a hikikomori for the past 2 years because of my bi-polar disorder and law school failure. I decided not to give up and I’m trying my best to re-enter the job market.
Prior to my seclusion, I was a translator during the Winter Olympics and did some freelance translating.
My old friends would be surprised because I was outgoing and well-mannered.
Regardless, I made a decision that I can’t live like this anymore.
Right now I’m trying to find a job that has potential for growth.
I can’t work at Fast Food or Trucking because I need my income to be at least 50k+ in 5 years. I must take care of my single mother once she retires.
The city is Portland. I’m looking into other cities as well.
Can you guys give me some tips on how to get a handle over my current situation?
I am a high functioning bi-polar so as long as I take my anti-depressants I never go full manic.
