Working full time while applying elsewhere: how do I take callbacks or *not* take callbacks?

I'm looking for new work and I'm torn by the situation of whether I should even answer my phone at my current job (it's an office).

I obviously don't want to get "caught" in my current role answering or talking on my phone, but also do not want to miss an opportunity if I let it go to voicemail. How should I handle this?
