I’ve recently applied for a position at a company and had a face to face interview that I thought went really well but received a generic “thank you but we decided on someone else” email, to which I responded requesting feed back (which I did not received.) About two weeks later the same position opens up again and I decided to shoot my shot and applied for it. I now have a phone interview with the recruiter who sent me the generic rejection email. Should I mention that I applied and interviewed for this position a few weeks ago? Or just go along with it as a normal new first time interview?
