Hello, Redditors!
I need some tips for tomorrow's phone screening to put me closer to an actual interview. I am interviewing for an IT Project Manager position.
A little about me: I worked for a Fortune 500 company for about 7 years (in IT) but due to lack of growth, challenges and opportunities I voluntarily left for a much smaller company where I lasted for 5 months.
Long story short - I got catfished, so I quit due unrealistic expectations from upper management whilst being on training to finish my Master's... I did not have another job lined up when I did it, so technically I am unemployed for about 10 months now but on the job market since last October (as soon as I graduated).
So, I need to explain this in a very smart and promising way. I hate that I now have a gap in my employment; however, I can't change that but I did it to finish school otherwise I would have dropped out and then blamed myself for doing it for the rest of my life...
