Just started new engineering job 5 months ago, feels like a sinking ship, should/how do i leave??

I just started my first engineering job 5 months ago after finishing college. Ever since i started our department has been at odds with the others, constantly. I get the feeling like our department is hated by all others. Other departments have set 'traps' for us to catch us doing stuff wrong and we are singled out many of times for stuff they let other people get away with.

I got a good review from my boss but my boss got a bad review and if we dont improve in a few months they will begin "considering if not a good fit for the company" whatever that means. Keep in mind this department is small (only a few people.)

On the flip side, I just got back from some expensive training so i'm wondering if they would spend a ton of money on training only to fire us a few months later?

I just get the feeling like i may have joined an sinking ship, what should i do? If i find another job and leave would that look bad on my resume for my first engineering job?
