Is there a job that combines the hands-on part of building a computer with the software side of coding?

Is there a job that combines the hands-on part of building a computer with the software side of coding and troubleshooting? I've always been really into computers and I looked into computer engineering but it looks like they go more into building the components themselves rather than putting them together and using them and I don't think that would be for me so yeah is there a job like that out there?
