Hi all, so I've recently decided that despite loving my job I'm going to quit soon as I can't stand where I've had to relocate to. I might even be cheeky and ask for some remote working opportunities but I understand I'd be very lucky to get them. I'll be leaving this job after about 6 months. My job prior was in an extremely toxic environment and I left after 5 months, but with a handful of more specialist skills. I was thinking of taking it off my CV altogether to avoid the two crammed in together, and because the many, many other women who have left the company since I did have fallen off the face of the Earth.
I also have unpaid writing work for various companies which totals about 3 years each, could I put it all under one header?
I'll be moving back with my long distance partner, who is himself going to be working a job only until September. I was thinking of taking this period to have gig/freelance/part time work until I apply for a masters, but am worried this would look bad - however I do feel like taking my time to working whilst not burdening an employer while I can't totally commit looks fairer to them.
