Gap in resume due to being let go

Hello all,

I am fixing up my resume and there was a brief stint at a company I had before being let go at the end of my probationary period. I've been told previously that I should keep it off my resume, but I am here to ask if I am better off putting the job on my resume just so there's no gap.
