So today I had a McDonald’s interview that I had high expectations for but imo didn’t really turn out as well as I thought it was gonna be. I struggled answering questions a bit like “why McDonald’s?” and “why do I need this job?” Etc...
I stumbled my words a lot and I contradicted myself with a lot of the answers to his questions. I don’t know if this has anything to do with me but he seemed like he was surprised (not in a good way) by how I was handling the interview. He closed his eyes and covered them towards the end of the interview.
Not only that, I showed obvious signs of being nervous and he asked me if I was and I denied it...looking back on that I should’ve admitted to it. At the end of the interview he asked if I have any questions for him and I asked him if I do get hired can I bring my own food and I asked him how long he’s been a manager at McDonald’s last. He closes his eyes again and says “why are you asking me that question?” I just said I was curious. He laughs a bit but he answered anyway.
This is my second interview ever and it’s been a long time since my last one. The first interview was worse than this one and it discouraged me to the point where I just gave up trying to get a job and it was a year ago.
