Question about HireRight

I got a notification today that HireRight had finished by background check. When I logged into the portal, I noticed that they had indicated that a criminal record was found. Seeing as I've never been arrested or charged with a crime, I was confused. When I looked at the details to see what they had flagged as a criminal offense, it was actually a civil traffic infraction, and their detailed classification indicated as much. My questions are 1) why did they classify this as a criminal record if their own research shows it was not a criminal offense? and 2) what should I do? Should I proactively contact the HR rep or wait for them to contact me?
