Management mishaps galore; needing guidance

Today was my first day as a full-time employee at an industrial company. The recruiter and HR employee that I spoke to confirmed that I was 1st shift; however, the manager that I report to and that I interviewed with states that I am 2nd shift. During the interview, he asked me if I'd be okay with over-time hours but never once mentioned that I would be 2nd shift. I would have declined the job knowing so. I also have all of the duties of a Chemist, but my official job title is different so they can pay me less. My onboarding is also supposedly not completed due to my manager not submitting a ticket to get my proper documentation. The hours are not listed in my contract or anywhere written when I was going through the hiring process. What should I do?

tldr management sucks, I am not working on my agreed upon hours, not being fairly compensated for the work that I am doing.
