As the title states I just received a call for a job offer from company 1. I am currently traveling for an interview with company 2. Company 1 said they would offer me a job but nothing official until today. I let company 1 know that I am traveling and maybe hard to get in touch with because I am traveling but intentionally left it vauge. Unfortunately, company 1 made me an amazing offer above and beyond what we had initially discussed and I was a little shell shocked. The HR rep from company 1 asked why I was traveling because she is super friendly and I let it slip that I was traveling for an interview with another company. We agreed to talk on Monday with my decision and they would extend a written offer tomorrow. Did I screw it up? My girlfriend is reaming me saying I pissed all over company 1.
