Fast way to get temporary work? (UK)

I'm currently unemployed. I've had a few jobs since leaving uni, but nothing serious/ permanent. I left my most recent job after I had surgery on my knee and I couldn't get to work anymore. I'm still recovering and my physio said that I shouldn't do jobs that require lots of standing/movement for another month or so in case I damage it again. Pretty much rules out all bar work and customer service jobs.

I've basically been living off my pretty limited savings and I've been applying for jobs but I'm struggling to find much that I would be able to do. Now my money is mostly out and I really need to find something quickly.
