What's the process for searching for an entry-level job?

Apologies if this isn't a good question, or the wrong place to ask.

I finished up my semester and decided not to go back to college. Or at least take a semester off or so. I did a year and a half of business management (mainly did GE classes, unfortunately).

I have a little over two years worth of retail (floor) experience, and I need to find something full-time that's entry-level. How exactly do I go about looking? I probably shouldn't be too picky, but I am. I want something that opens doors, something I can move up in if I choose to. I'd prefer to stay away from industrial and factory jobs if possible.

I've been searching for roughly a month now but I haven't found anything as of yet. Any and all advice is welcome.

Thank you!
