Interviewing for promotion before a conference, how should I best conduct myself afterwards?

I've been working for my company for seven years, and we have a yearly conference among all of us with my job title from our several national branches. My branch has had an opening for its president position, and a team of executives at our head office have decided to conduct my interview after I get into town the day before the conference.

There is a high amount of socializing in the hotel bar each evening of the conference each year that I have attended, and many of the same people who are interviewing me will be mingling there. In past years, I've engaged many of them in conversation over drinks, but I am concerned about the ethics of doing so this year in the days following my interview. However, I do not want to also be seen as avoiding them either. What is the best way to conduct myself post-interview in this situation?
