I applied for this office gig on the 19th and got an email from an HR rep the next day requesting my availability for the 23rd and 24th so she could call me for a phone screening. I replied with my availability; no reply from them. Flash forward to Monday and I sent her an email providing an alternate phone number to call because my main line was unavailable; no reply.
I want to say I got ghosted. An old coworker of mine got an offer to work there two weeks ago and she was the one that told me to apply there since they're hiring multiple people but I'm over hear feeling like they just ghosted me before the interview. I told her what happened and she said I should just email them again Monday since she had to deal with a forgetful HR rep. I figure it's the holidays so people are distracted and a follow up email wouldn't hurt I suppose but it's not like they bothered to reply to my previous email to begin with. What do you guys think?
