Landing a job in HR

Currently I am active duty Air Force with a year left on my contract. My current job is a structural “engineer”. I am basically a construction worker for the Air Force. That being said, I have no real HR experience other than being a front line supervisor to several troops. I am currently obtaining my degree in interdisciplinary studies and Human Resources. I am 18 months out from completing my bachelors but I will be getting a Human Resources management certificate from park university in the mean time. The Air Force offers a program called the skilled bridge that allows its airmen to step out of the Air Force for the last 6 months to intern/gain knowledge or possibly even a job while still getting paid by the Air Force. It is basically an incentive to take me in and train me. I am wondering how do I go about possibly getting hired without having my degree yet or any experience for that matter? I am hoping to find a job that I can transition into smoothly. Are there certain companies I should target? Any recommendations or insight is greatly appreciative. Thanks so much
