Have you ever left a good job?

I'm in a weird place where I like my job/boss/coworkers, but I'm not a fan of where I live (small town, can be lonely). A friend of mine was looking for a job, noticed a posting and said I would be a good fit. I applied, and got an interview which went pretty well I think. I should be hearing back next week about next steps, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. The job is in a different state, and in a much larger city.

I've been at my current job for over 2 years, and was planning on being there longer, so I don't know. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else has been in this position - leaving a great job for the sake of location. Thanks in advance :)
