How Do You Maintain Stamina When Getting Bombed With Scenario Interview Questions

Today's interview marked my 16th in four months of searching for a post-college job. All of the questions the interviewers asked were scenario-based--and doomsday-scenario-based at that. I believe I provided good answers, for the most part. With scenarios I start by bringing up a similar experience, and than relating it to a hypothetical response. I just felt so exhausted as the scenarios kept coming.

I'm more used to interviewers throwing in a mix of questions. Yes, scenarios but also questions about my resume (more of the inverse-scenario questions). The mix allows for time to relax.

As I said, some of these questions felt like they were checking my preparedness for doomsday. Some of the questions were in the lane of "If the software crashes, how will you fix it?" I'm no expert, and that's what I conveyed (not an IT role). I get it though, stuff has happened to me at work. Now that I've thought about it, I think the better answer would've been "It depends on the company's policy."

Today's also wan't that great because one person was on the phone, and the connection wasn't great. So, I'm not sure if I answered as best as I could have.

Should I expect total-scenario interviews in the future, and how can I keep my stamina? Between the questions and the phone connection, I felt like I was on my feet the whole time.
