I was lied to in my interview and now I want to quit after a month- advice?

I interviewed for my first job out of school and landed the position a few months after graduation. I was told I’d be working 45-48 hour weeks when in reality it’s somewhere around 60. I’m very unhappy with the work itself and the hours are taking a toll on my health, especially with a commute that generally takes 1.5-2 hours out of every day. I’m looking for new positions but I’m finding I barely have the time to do so. If I know the position isn’t for me, would it benefit me and the company to quit and focus my efforts on something that is a better fit? Not expecting my first job to be a perfect fit, but a lot of things about this position are on the extreme side of being bad. Help!
