Can I add null results paper to resume?

I'm in the first year of my MSc and am applying for summer internships. I want to show that Ive been through, and led my own research project from start to finish, and even pre-registered on OSF, but that the experiment results were null. I wrote a manuscript for my honors thesis and wanted to at least try to submit it but prof said it would be rejected.

Should I include it? If so, how should I cite it?
