Working for employer on 11 month contract. Im doing the same work as my supervisors but for much less pay. I mostly took the job because my buddy works there and it is good work experience.
The issue is i can make more money elsewhere and there is no job openings at this company atm.
Would it be ok to ask my boss to hire me as an external consultant? They are in need if a new consultant they can rely on.
