3 Firings In One Day - Can r/jobs Help Me Make Sense Of My Current Hotel Job Situation to Negotiate A Raise?

Sorry in advance for the length of the post, but I could really use some advice!

I work full time at a large boutique hotel in a city as a front desk agent - 2 of those days are as the part time overnight auditor. Just the other night I arrived for my shift and learned that almost a third of our front desk team (3 people) have been fired. One of the fired was the night auditor who worked 5 days a week. I am now expecting a discussion with management about becoming the hotel’s full time night auditor. I’m wondering if this sub has any advice or guidance on the matter of asking for a raise because I have never been in a situation like this where (correct me if I’m wrong) I believe I have significant leverage.

To put things in perspective the hotel is less than one year old and I have been working here for 7 months. I have been doing a solid job with my roles so far (compliment from managers, get along well with everyone, never late, no missed shift, help out extra when needed). I have also been part of the team during our hotels ascent from number #70 on TripAdvisor to #12 for hotels in this city (front desk is the top performing department) resulting in a large increase in overall guests and, I would imagine, much more revenue. However, the hotel has gone through a large amount of staff including 3 other full time night auditors since opening. I am the second longest lasting front desk agent and longest lasting overnight auditor. The other auditors have all been fired for reasons ranging from threatening to beat up other coworkers to disappearing for hours at a time as well as selling weed at work. The other night auditors have been a massive pain point for management as they have resulted in most of our negative reviews as well as lots of lost revenue from incorrectly doing their tasks. My manager has told me I am the only auditor he does not regret hiring. I have also heard them say there are very few qualified candidates to hire.

Also to consider - Night Audit and Front Desk Agent are two separate positions, and although I work 3 days a week as a FDA and 2 as a NA, my position is simply NA and I receive a higher pay of $21.00 an hour whenever I work - which is also above the average for his position in my city (which has a very HCOL). However, when working as an auditor I am technically the on duty manager and as such fill out our manager shift report.

Given this info would I have a good argument to negotiate a 20% raise (would take 15%) considering the above circumstances and the fact that by becoming the full time night auditor I would be drastically changing my life's entire schedule. This change would reduce the number of hours I am able to work at my second part time job and decrease my overall income. It also affects my social life and the amount of time I get to spend with my partner who does not work 3rd shift.

Any input would be incredibly useful as I am not sure what the best way to go about asking for this raise is, if it is too much, and which facts to include in my justification. Thanks!
