what you would do to handle the situation given:
You are working as a cashier on a busy Friday night and a customer comes in asking for a refund. You let them know that due to store policy, the store does not accept any refunds. The customer starts getting frustrated and complains about how hard the day’s been for them meanwhile the other customers waiting in line are becoming impatient. How do you handle the frustrated customer as well making sure the other customers don’t wait too long?
I never worked as a cashier before, but my only thought to handle this is to try and calm the customer... and that’s all I got. Those who worked as a cashier, how do you guys handle this situation? Is there a specific protocol you have to go by?
