Miserable after 2 weeks and the project I’m working on doesn’t end for 6 months. When do I talk to HR about changing positions in the company?

Just started a job two weeks ago and it’s been very stressful. Working an average 10 hr shift getting up at 530 in the morning and working nonstop when I get there. I’ve had little to no training and been thrown into a situation where I’m immediately being pressured to get tasks done that aren’t close to completion. It’s draining me of my energy and I’m starting to get very down. The company I’m working for has multiple paths you can choose for your career and I already know this isn’t what I’m going to do for the rest of my life.

That being said, I can’t just leave this project now that I’m on it. An HR rep has reached out saying she’d be the point of contact if I wanted to switch paths after this rotation. Do I start that process as soon as possible or would that seem like I pull the trigger too quickly?
