Today my boss came over to me ten minutes before I had to go home and told me I couldn't go home. I told him I had plans after work and I needed more notice then ten minutes.
He didn't care and said I needed to stay. I told him I needed to take care of my car and I may not make it in the next day (where he needed me more). I actually had a phone interview.
Tomorrow, I have another in person interview and I'm pretty sure they're going to try to stay late.
It's important to note that at a commination meeting we were told not to expect any overtime and none would be offered. But due to poor planning, they are forcing overtime without even talking to us about it.
HR wasn't in today but I will talk to them tomorrow. Should I just say I have an interview?
