What to say if interviewers ask about previous job leaving? Seems like a big question..

Hello, I recently left my employer without a job lined up, yes it is a bad choice. But the office work environment, especially with the constant threat of being fired by my manager, and toxic attitude of putting me down in front of everyone and managing in fear led me to leave that job. To give some more background, I left my first job and landed on this thinking it as a good career opportunity, but to land to an abusive work environment and bullying :(

I am getting questions about a lot about why I left, what I should I say? Should I be honest and tell them everything? The questions keep digging deeper and deeper about leaving a job, and it is getting frustrating to be honest. What do you guys consider to be a good answer? And what should I say if they keep getting deeper to it?
