I'm a 28 year college graduate currently looking for employment or some type of career to support myself. I was diagnosed with Asperger's at a young age, which makes socializing and processing information a challenge for me. Because of this, it's tough for me to hold any type of job because I get a lot of anxiety in regards to my performance. My last two jobs were not great and I ended up quitting both positions.
My last long term job I worked as an office assistant at a small shelter helping the homeless, but I had no passion in that field and left when I was offered a new job.
Right now, I'm currently waiting to get accepted into vocational rehab and use their services to find some type of employment or career training. But I've heard that the only jobs they really offer are part-time minimum wage jobs.
I am unsure of what career path to take as I'm not sure what I'm good at. I try really hard and I'm willing to learn despite my challenges, but I feel frustrated in my current state.
